Portrait of Lukasz Jagiello

Lukasz Jagiello Engineering leader · San Francisco Bay Area

I’ve spent more than twenty years building infrastructure and the teams behind it. These days, my focus is on AI agents and developer platforms. You can find the professional version of my story on LinkedIn.

Outside of work, I play CTFs and build ctf-skills, an open-source collection of skills that helps coding agents solve CTF challenges. I’ve always enjoyed taking things apart to understand how they work, whether it’s firmware, wire protocols, or whatever gadget happens to be on my desk. When I’m not tinkering with something, I’m probably grilling or snowboarding in Tahoe.

At Burning Man, I’m part of Titanic’s End, the crew behind the Iceberg art car. My latest project is IceFinder, a light-up pendant that points you toward your friends, making it easier to find each other in the chaos of the playa.

I’m also a vinyl collector, mostly breakbeat hardcore and jungle, with a particular soft spot for Kniteforce. My collection is on Discogs and Bandcamp. When I’m not digging through record crates, you’ll find me at a show or somewhere in front of a massive sound system on the playa.

Side projects

  • HardwareC · 2026

    IceFinder

A wearable LED pendant for Burning Man 2027. Its lights point toward your friends, so you can find each other anywhere on the playa.

  • Hacking and toolingGo · 2026

    lastwar-client

A from-scratch client for the mobile game Last War, built by reverse-engineering how the app talks to its servers. It logs in and runs a real game session without the official app, and its site has the full protocol write-up.

  • Hacking and toolingPython · 2026

    ctf-skills

Hacking know-how for AI coding agents. It teaches Claude Code, Codex and other agents how to work through CTF challenges, from web bugs and binary exploits to crypto and forensics.

  • HardwareGo · 2026

    Totem Compass

A teardown of the Totem Compass, the festival gadget that helps friends find each other. It explains how the firmware works and how the devices talk to the phone and to each other, with a working client and an ESP32 that joins the mesh.

  • HardwareGo · 2026

    yamaha-cli

Control a Yamaha receiver from the terminal. It finds the receiver on your network by itself and handles volume, inputs, radio and multi-room audio, so it's easy to script.

  • Hacking and toolingSvelte · 2026

    Poo Math

Plans the least glamorous part of Burning Man: when your RV needs pumping out and refilling. It simulates a thousand possible weeks to predict when the tanks fill up, then drafts your reply to the camp's RV survey.

  • HardwareGo · 2023

    airdash

Puts your AirGradient air-quality readings in the macOS menu bar, so CO2, PM2.5, temperature and humidity are always a glance away.

  • Hacking and toolingGo · 2024

    git-clone

Never wonder where you cloned something again. Whatever URL you give it, the repo lands in the same place under ~/code, and it prints the path so you can cd straight in.
